our story:

We met in 2017 at Film School and have since followed our creative passions together. In 2019, we created a short documentary on the Leatherback and Loggerhead Turtles of iSimangaliso Wetland Park that aired on National TV and has since won International Awards. We are both very passionate about conserving our planet and it's beautiful animal species.
In 2020, we started Aloe Film Co. We are based in Durban, South Africa but we love to travel and experience new places. We love meeting new people and forming new relationships.

Jess
Jess is our talented videographer. She has a BA in Motion Picture Medium, specialising in cinematography and colour grading but has since found her passion in directing and underwater filmmaking too.
Jess is an artist and is extremely passionate about conservation, wildlife and endangered animals.
Slade
Slade is our intelligent editor and drone operator. He has a BA in Motion Picture Medium, specialising in Editing. Slade is very quick thinking, creative and always keen to experiment or try something new.
Slade is passionate about music and film, extreme sports and loves to travel.
